June Matayoshi (she/her/hers) is the Grants Manager at the Irving Harris Foundation, serving as a liaison between grantees and program staff for almost four decades. One of the top priorities in June’s professional and personal life is relationships – a value she shares with the Harris family. She is a member of PEAK Grantmaking, former Co-Chair of PEAK’s Regional Membership Committee, and served on the Product Advisory Council for SmartSimple software. June also pursues an active freelance career as a professional oboist in the metropolitan Chicago area, including 29 years with the Chicago Sinfonietta as well as playing for top-level talent ranging from the Joffrey Ballet to Celtic Woman to productions of Broadway in Chicago.
