Liliana Velázquez Liu (she/her/hers) is the Program Associate in Early Childhood at the Irving Harris Foundation. She worked most recently at Council for a Strong America with retired admirals and generals and business leaders advocating for evidence-based public policies and programs that support young children and families. She completed her Illinois Early Childhood Fellowship at the Ounce of Prevention and Illinois Action for Children. She also supported a Head Start recruitment project and parent-led early learning campaign at Community Organizing & Family Issues (COFI) and implemented Abriendo Puertas while at the Latino Policy Forum. Liliana earned a Master of Arts degree in Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Grinnell College.
